This is a case report of infectious endocarditis of bioprosthetic aortic valve with an atypical course. This case is interesting for the absence of bioprosthetic aortic valve destruction by infectious endocarditis and / or formation of paraprosthetic fistula, the presence of stuck bioprosthetic valve leaflets, and rapid increase in transprosthetic pressure gradient, which resulted in sudden cardiac death of the patient. Description of this case should help practitioners to avoid diagnostic and tactic mistakes in their work with such patients.
