This is a review of scientific reports and practical recommendations focusing on features of physical rehabilitation for elderly patients. The article highlights methods for evaluating the functional status of these patients and major strategic approaches enhancing their functional capacity. Benefits of physical activity and types of acceptable exercise in senile and elderly patients with CHF are discussed.
