Keywords: arterial hypertension, beta-blockers, metabolic syndrome

DOI: 10.18087/rhfj.2012.2.1680

The article is devoted to a topical problem of modern medicine – AH as a component of metabolic syndrome. According to the reference data, more than 40 % patients have arterial hypertension, which is a basic RF of the development of MI, cerebral stroke or their combination. Beta-blockers effectively control level of AH. Cardioselective agents, such as Bisoprolol, having a long half-life period, which makes single daily administration possible. The article provides results of equivalence study of original Bisoprolol and generic Biol.
