Cognitive abnormality and gray state at CHF as against ischemic heart disease

Relevancy. Chronic heart failure may be one of the extra cerebral causes contributing to formation and / or progressing of cognitive failures. Objective. Study of CHF relations with cognitive failures and ectocinerea changes. Materials and methods. Cognitive tests, echocardiography, encephalon MRI, definition of the NT-proBNP concentration were carried out with 57 CHF I–IV FC patients as against ischemic disease. Results. With the increase of CHF severity it was revealed the following: deterioration of memory and attention, increase of the water molecule diffusion ratio in ectocinerea and decrease of cerebral cortex thickness (mainly end and parietal lobes). Thus there is a relation between CHF evidence, micro anatomical affects and decrease of cerebral cortex thickness as well as cognitive failure level.
