Urgency. Treatment satisfaction is considered an important parameter which has not been sufficiently studied in Russian patients including patients with CHF. Aim. Studying the treatment satisfaction in patients with CHF. Materials and methods. Questioning of hospitalized cardiological patients with II–III FC CHF was performed using the Picker Institute Questions Survey. Interrelation between treatment characteristics and patient satisfaction with the in‑patient treatment was evaluated using a logistic regression and one‑way non‑parametric analysis. One hundred fifty patients were included in the survey in 2005 and 200 patients in 2006. Results. Most patients were satisfied with the treatment in the hospital. They highly rated the respect for patients; politeness; confidence in physicians; treatment organization; and volume and level of provided information at the hospital. Patients estimated the involvement of family in the process of treatment and the emotional support as inadequate. The lowest grade was given to recommendations upon discharge.
