Urgency. In recent decades diastolic heart failure (DHF) has significantly increased. Aim. Study was focused on evaluation of left ventricular (LV) diastolic disfunction (DD) frequency and DHF in women in menopause. Materials and methods. Cross-section study included 129 women in perimenopause period. Doppler-echoCG, 6 min. test were performed. The levels of common cholesterol, triglycerides low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) were defined. The gravity of climacteric syndrome was evaluated with modified menopause index. Results. DD has been found at 83 women (64,34%). All women had hypertrophy type of LVDD. Clinical characters of chronic heart failure (CHF) has been found at 47 researched patients (36,43%). Women with DD had dislipoproteinemia, arterial hypertension (AH) and ischemic heart disease (IHD) significantly often.
